Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 17 equities gained while 27 equities declined in share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Ikeja Hotels Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at  N7.26 from its previous price of N6.60

Fidelity Bank, Academy Press, and Morison Industries Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.88%, 9.77%,  and 9.71% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Livestock Feeds Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N1.44 from its previous close of N1.60

Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), International Energy Insurance, and FTN Cocoa Processors Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by  9.79%, 9.79%,  and 9.72% respectively.

Volume Drivers

United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc traded about  55.013 million units of its shares in 1,092 deals, valued at N1.284 billion

Zenith Bank Plc traded about 47.030 million units of its shares in 907 deals, valued at N1.691Billion

Access Holdings Plc traded about 44.986 million units of its shares in 845 deals, valued at N789.622 million
