1. Olatunji Sobodu – Chairman: Dr. Sobodu presents over two decades of experience in banking and finance covering areas including Research and Corporate Planning, Relationship Management, Risk Management, Business Development and Capital Market Activities. He left Spring Bank Plc in 2009 as a General Manager in the Executive Office after working in other institutions such as Fountain Trust Bank and United Bank for Africa Plc.
He was also a visiting research fellow at both the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. In addition to his rich banking exposure he has taught at the Lagos Business School and presented papers in several seminars and programmes over the years. He holds a Ph.D in Economic Planning and Operations Research.
From his responsibility as MD/CE of the Dove & Brooks Group, which has interests in Oil & Gas, Finance, Real Estate and Education, Dr. Sobodu also serves now as the MD/CE of Capital Oil & Gas Plc, a company quoted on The Nigerian Stock Exchange, under a turnaround arrangement.
2. Olufunlola Adediran – Director
Mrs. Adediran is a target-driven leader with solid managerial skill set and vast experience in tax administration. She has garnered over 20 years of experience in tax administration.
She assumed the office of an assistant audit manager at Balogun Adejo & Co (Chartered Accountants) in 1989 before assuming the role of Company Accountant at INDRES & DEVCOM in 1991. A strategic move to the Federal Inland Revenue Service in 1994 saw her rise through the ranks from Assistant Chief Inspector of Taxes to Head Monitoring & Reconciliation Unit in 1998. Seven years later, she was promoted to head the Oil & Gas Tax Audit Department, a position she held on to for 4 years.
In February 2009, she became Deputy Director of Tax Controller LTO, Oil & Gas where she was responsible for assessing, collecting and accounting for taxes collected in Oil & Gas industries as well as interfacing with other Government Agencies. Between October 2012 and September 2013, she assumed the role of Director (Taxpayer Services – Customer Service) at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).Thereafter, she assumed the role of Director (Large Taxpayer Department Oil & Gas) between 2013 and 2016 before taking up the role of a Director at the FIRS.
Olufonla quadruples as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute Of Taxation(CITN), Associate of the Chartered Pension Institute of Nigeria (CIPN), Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Of Nigeria (ICAN) and member of the Chartered Institute Of Stock Brokers (CIS).
She obtained an Ordinary National Diploma in Accounting (1984) prior to the pursuit of a Higher National Diploma in Accounting at Yaba College of Technology in 1987. She obtained a Masters in Public Administration at the University of Lagos in 1998.
3. Abiodun M. Aina – Director: He is the prime promoter and founder of GlobalView Capital Limited. He is a seasoned Finance and Investment manager with over twenty (20) years post qualification experience in Auditing, Taxation, Banking and Business Advisory Services. Abiodun is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS), Associate Member, Chartered Taxation Institute (ACTI).
He also holds a Masters Degree (MBF) in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos. Abiodun started his professional career with KPMG in 1982 and left as Audit Senior in 1988 to join First Interstate Merchant Bank where he rose to the position of Manager and Head of Treasury before he joined Associated Discount House (ADHL) in 1993 as the pioneer Assistant Chief Dealer. He left ADHL in 1997 as Senior Manager and member of the company’s Executive Committee.
He subsequently worked with Baccad Finance & Investments Ltd as Head of Accounts where he garnered the pre-requisite experience required to become a Dealing Clerk on The Nigerian Stock Exchange. He later qualified as a Stockbroker (ACS) in 1997 after which he established the firm of GlobalView Capital Limited.
Abiodun Aina also had the distinct privilege to serve in Reliance Bank Ltd in the capacity of Deputy General Manager. He was at various times in charge of Treasury and Financial Institutions, and Head, Corporate and Investment Banking division of the Bank.
4. Valentine ‘Segun Whensu – Director
Mr. Whensu is a consummate banker and financial services professional par excellence, deploying over two decades of professional experience, exposure and business intelligence garnered through an employment and business management history that spans Afribank, Peak Merchant Bank, Fortune International Bank and First City Monument Bank Plc.
Besides his varied experience in banking and finance, he also exploits vast opportunities of knowledge in oil and gas, trades and investments. Among several impressive accolades, Mr. Valentine Whensu holds an LLM from the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom, an M.Sc in Management Science from the Winneba University of Education, Ghana and an MBA from the Delta state University, Abraka.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK, and a Fellow of the Certified Public Administrators of England & Wales. Mr. Whensu currently serves as the Managing director-Chief Executive Officer of Global Initiative Microfinance Bank and was appointed to add his wealth of diversified experience to the board of GlobalView Capital Limited in May 2013.
5. Ishola Ayinde Eniola – Director
Mr. Eniola is a Chartered Accountant with about three decades of experience. He holds a B.Sc (Accounting) degree from the University of Lagos and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Mr. Eniola had a very rewarding and rich career in the private sector of the Nigerian economy which has been highly enhanced by a six-month United Kingdom professional attachment experience with the firm of Messrs. Spicer & Pegler, Cambridge Office, U.K. in 1983. He was with the accounting firm of Sulaimon & Co from 1981 to 1993 where he rose to become the Resident Partner, Kano Office.
Mr. Eniola had been involved in very large, medium and small-size audits and consultancy assignments that are wide-ranging in Public and Private Sectors of the Nigerian Economy.
6. Gabriel Adetun Bondefaiye, Owope – Director
An Experienced Senior-level professional. He has served as CEO of several private companies with over 3 decades of progressive experience and proven record of significant, successful contribution in financial management with core competencies in Capital Market Operations, Asset and Fund Management, International Fund Mediation (diaspora funds) as well as Groupings and Micro Financing. He is a highly analytical decision-maker with extensive experience in building and operating companies along with proven history of increasing productivity and turning around difficult situations.
He is a Chartered Stockbroker and a Fellow of the Institute (FCS). He holds a B.Sc degree in Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, 1984 and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from same university, 1987. He has attended several training programs around the world, some of which include the World Bank Pension Conference, Washington DC in May 2003 organized by the World Bank, Symposium on Privatization of Housing Corporations in Africa by Shelter Afrique, Nairobi, Kenya, June 2002.
Mr Owope was also in Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Boston MA, USA, in August, 2004 for the Changing the Game – Negotiation and Competitive Decision Making in an Executive Program. Equally, he attended the Leading & Managing People, An Executive course at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA in 2007. He is an Alumnus of The Lagos Business School, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIOD) Nigeria, where he served in the Membership Committee for over with (8) years. He is equally a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria (FICA) and a recipient of the prestigious Financial Integrity Award 2003, by the CREDITNEWS Nigeria.
He is married and blessed with three children.
7. Kebira Jimoh Aruna – Managing Director/CEO
Kebira holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Delta State University, Abraka, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a bias in Marketing from Lagos State University. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Kebira is inevitably an experienced Capital Market expert who has been active in the industry for the past thirteen (13) critical years. He admittedly possesses extensive experience in investment portfolio management for institutional and high-net-worth individuals (HNI) with an upward trajectory in returns at an appreciable success rate.
His stock market career started at Mainland Trust Limited from 2011-2013 and proceeded warily to APT Securities and Funds Limited during a 2yrs timeline from 2013 – 2015. In minor addition to his primary role as Capital Market Specialist, Kebira also doubles as an on-air capital market coach/critical analyst through weekly content published on TV, radio, public seminars, and various social media platforms.
In his personal quest for more challenges, Kebira joined Gruene Capital Limited, where he pioneered many trading and strategic operational changes at the firm. He humbly served at the company for a sensitive period of three and half years (3.5 years) between January 2015 – July 2018.
By dint of assiduousness, Kebira was solemnly given the leadership mantle at GlobalView Capital Limited as Managing Director/CEO to take the company to its next level.

Kate Eguavoen holds a B.Ed Educational Management & Economics from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State.
Prior to joining the company, she started her career as an Audit Staff at Oyedele Akinbode & Co where she grew into a Senior Auditor prior to transition into the Capital Market industry with Dunbell Securities Limited, as Compliance Officer and a Senior Accountant.
She currently leads the Compliance department of GlobalView Capital Limited as Chief Compliance Officer.
10. Olasupo Samuel Akande – Chief Dealer
Olasupo Samuel Akande is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, and an Authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
He started his career in advertising before joining the Capital Market. He worked with Excel Securities Limited, Molten Trust and Investment Limited, and De-Lords Securities Limited before joining GlobalView Capital Limited as the Chief Dealing Clerk.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos.
