Transaction on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, closed on a positive note. The  All Share Index appreciated by 0.25% to settle at 71,014.34 from the previous close of 70,840.72. This brings the year-to-date to 38.47%, the month-to-date to 2.62% and the week-to-date to 0.28% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N39.038trillion. An aggregate of 297,321,528 units of shares was traded in 6,063 deals valued at 6,161,051,509.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 39 equities gained while 19 equities declined in share prices.

Percentage Gainers
Oando and Omatek Plc led other gainers with 10% growth each to close at N11.55 and N0.77 from they previous pricem N10.50 and N0.70

Mecure Industries, C&I Leasing, and Meyer PLC amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.92%, 9.87% and 9.73% respectively.

Percentage Losers
Scoa Nigeria Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.68%  off its share price to close at N1.12 from its previous close of N1.24

Sovereign Trust Insurance, Cornerstone Insurance and Cadbury Nigeria Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.82%, 4.83% and 4.17% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Oando Plc traded about 27.967 million units of its shares in 374 deals, valued at N315.268million

AIICO Insurance Plc traded about 23.043million units of its shares in 68 deals, valued at N16.392million.

Japaul Gold Ventures Plc traded about 20.377million units of its shares in 212 deals, valued at N38.354million
