Transaction on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Thursday, October 26, 2023, sustained its bearish trend as the market closed on a negative note. The  All Share Index declined by 0.18% to settle at 67,084.95 from the previous close of 67,206.16. This brings the year-to-date to 30.59%, the month-to-date to 1.07% and the week-to-date to 0.25% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N36.857 trillion. An aggregate of 267,653,980 units of shares was traded in 5,205 deals valued at N5.111 billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 12 equities gained while 29 equities declined in share prices.

Percentage Gainers
McNichols Plc led other gainers with 8.93% growth to close at  N0.61 from its previous price of N0.56

UACN, Oando and Chams Holding Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 6.09%, 4.07% and 3.65% respectively.

Percentage Losers
Secure Electronic Technology Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share prices to close at N0.27 from its previous close of N0.30

Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), Thomas Wyatt and International Breweries Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.94%, 9.84% and 9.78% respectively.

Fidelity Bank Plc traded about 39.831million units of its shares in 193 deals, valued at N326.853 million

Chams Holding CompanyPlc Plc traded about 23.500 million units of its shares in 309 deals, valued at N436.416 million.

Access Bank Holding  Plc traded about 20.555 million units of its shares in 331 deals, valued at N347.746 million
