This brings the year-to-date to 30.44%, the month-to-date to 0.92% and the week-to-date to 0.80% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N36.901Trillion. An aggregate of 257,423,368 units of shares were traded in 6,498 deals valued at N7.800billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as a total of 13 equities gained while 27 equities declined in their share prices.

McNichols Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at  N0.66 from its previous price of N0.60

Capital Hotel, Chams Business Solutions and ABC Transport Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.82%, 9.38% and 8.82% respectively.

Percentage Losers

John Holt Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N1.44from its previous close of N1.60

Presco, Daar Communication and Deap Capital Management and Trust Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.54, 8.70% and 7.41% respectively.

Fidelity Banks Plc traded about 53.396million units of its shares in 297 deals, valued at N442.890million

Access Bank Holding Corporation Plc traded about 31.088million units of its shares in 456 deals, valued at N490.504million.
