The All Share Index appreciated by 2.48% to settle at 64,603.69 from the previous close of 63,040.87. This brings the year-to-date to 24.85%, the month-to-date to 5.89% and the week-to-date to 2.48% respectively.
Market Capitalisation closed at N35.177trillion. An aggregate of 1,839,046,861 units of shares were traded in 14,584 deals valued at N22.033billion.
Market Breadth
The market breadth closed positive as a total of 71 equities gained while 18 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
Dangote Cement, MRS Oil Nigeria, Neimeth Pharmaceutical, Jaiz Bank and Daar Commuinications Plc led other gainers with 10% growth each to close at N330.10, N109.45, N2.20, N1.98 and N0.22 from their previous price of N300.10, N99.50, N2.00, N1.98 and N0.20 respectively
Transcorp Hotels, Conoil and Golden Guinea Breweries Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.98%, 9.97% and 9.95% respectively.
Percentage Losers
Pharma-Deko Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.85% off their share prices to close at N1.83 from its previous close of N2.03
Union Dicon Salt, Berger Paints and Guinea Insurance Plc were amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.50%, 9.09% and 7.69% respectively.
