Transaction on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Tuesday June 6, 2023 closed on a positive note as the  All Share Index appreciated  by 0.42% to settle at 56,038.85 from the previous close of 55,807.09. This brings the year-to-date to 9.37%, the month-to-date to 0.50% and the week-to-date to a 0.40% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N30.513trillion. An aggregate of 322,494,757 units of shares were traded in 6,165 deals valued at N8.824billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as a total of 28 equities gained while 24 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers
E-Tranzact International Plc led other gainers with 10% growth  to close at  N4.40 from its previous price of N4.00

Eterna, Pharma-Deko and Cornerstone Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.85%, 9.52% and 9.52% respectively.

Percentage Losers
John Halt Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.88% off its share price to close at N1.55 from its previous close of N1.72

Multiverse, Chellaram and Omatek Ventures Plc were amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.88%, 9.54% and 9.09% respectively.

Volume Drivers

UBA Plc traded about 47.126million units of its shares in 442 deals, valued at N442.314million

Access Bank Holding Plc traded about 39.911million units of its shares in 390 deals, valued at N501.775million.
