Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Thursday closed on a positive note as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.29% to settle at 52,752.96 from the previous close of 52,599.65. This brings the year-to-date to 2.24%, the month-to-date to 2.24% and the week-to-date to 0.77% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N28.733trillion. An aggregate of  139,679,769 units of shares were traded in 3,456 deals valued at N2.022billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 25 equities gained while 7 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Geregu Power Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N147.40 from the previous price of N134

Coronation Insurance, Chellaram, and International Energy Insurance Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.80%, 9.70% and 9.40% respectively.

Percentage Losers
RT Briscoe Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.10% off it share price to close at N0.30  from the previous close of N0.33

Royal Exchange, Courtville and Linkage Insurance plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.20%, 7.80 % and 4% respectively.

GTBank Plc traded about 17.793million units of its shares in 216 deals, valued at N141.381million.

Accesscorp Plc traded about 15.379million units of its shares in 145 deals, valued at N64.897million.
