Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Thursday, closed on a positive note as the All Share Index appreciated by 0.01% to settle at 47,656.64 from the previous close of 47.660.04. This brings the year-to-date to 11.56%, the month-to-date to 8.82% and the week-to-date to 6.89% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N25.957trillion. An aggregate of 172.895units of shares were traded in 3,073 deals valued at N2.843billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 13 equities gained while11 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

UPDC Reit  led other gainers with 9.09% growth to close at N3 from the previous price of N2.75.

MCnichols, Japaul Gold and Nigerian Breweries Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.93%, 7.41% and 7.14% respectively.

Percentage Losers

Hony welll Flour Plc led other price decliners as it shed 7.89% off it share price to close at N2.28 from the previous close of N2.14.

R.T Briscoe, Wema Bank and FCMB Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 7.41%, 5.45% and 4.18% respectively.

Volume Drivers

FCMB traded about 49.802million units of its shares in 116 deals, valued at N172.790million.

Courtville traded about 16.865million units of its shares in 2 deals, valued at N8.432billion.

Access Bank  traded about 11.962million units of its shares in 151 deals, valued at N103.000million.
