The NGX Equity Market All Share Index witnessed bullish activities  as the Market Capitalisation appreciated by N709billion at the end of today’s trading session.

Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Tuesday, closed on a positive note as the All Share Index appreciated by 2.90% to settle at  46,232.37 from the previous close of 44.929.33. This brings the year-to-date to 8.08%, the month-to-date to 5.81% and the week-to-date to 3.88% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N25.181trillion. An aggregate of 185,591,753 units of shares were traded in 3,359 deals valued at N1.842billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 28 equities gained while 11 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

NSLTECH and Dangote Cement led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N0.22 and N262.30 from the previous price of N0.20 and N238.5 respectively.

Buacement, Cornerstone Insurance Plc and Prestige Assurance Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.70%, 9.10% and 8.10% respectively.

Percentage Losers

SCOA led other price decliners as it shed 9.3% off its share price to close at N1.17 from the previous close of N1.29.

Royalex, Eterna and Cutix amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.00%, 4.80% and 4.70% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Livingtrust  traded about 30.110million units of its shares in 4 deals, valued at N43.057million.

Transcorp Plc traded about 26.530million units of its shares in 130 deals, valued at N31.460million.

Accesscorp  Plc traded about 16.392million units of its shares in 148 deals, valued at N139.574million.
