The NGX stock market ASI closed in slightly negative of 0.01% at the end of today’s trading session as 13 companies gained while the equities of 12 companies depreciated in price.

.Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Thursday, closed on a negative note as the All Share Index depreciated by 0.02% to settle at  47.524.28 from the previous close of 47.565.92.  This brings the year-to-date to 11.26%, the month-to-date to  -2.98% and the week-to-date to 0.43% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N25.89trillion. An aggregate of 86.543 units of shares were traded in 3.164 deals valued at N2.091billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed flat as 13 equities gained and 13 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

Honeywell Flour Plc led other gainers with 9.79% growth to close at N2.13 from the previous price of N1.94.

Neimeth Insurance, Fidson and Chams Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.52%, 7.88% and 7.69% respectively.

Percentage Losers

UACN Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.76% off its share price to close at N9.25 from the previous close of N10.25.

Geregu, Lasaco Insurance and Cornerstone Insurance Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.02%, 6.67% and 5.45% respectively.

Volume Drivers

GTCO Plc traded about 19.153million units of its shares in 473 deals, valued at N324.206Million.

Zenith Bank Plc traded about 8.530million units of its shares in 257 deals, valued at N166.482Mmillion.

Access Bank Plc traded about 8.450million units of its shares in 127 deals, valued at N67.438million.
