Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Monday, closed on a negative note as the All Share Index depreciated by 0.13% to settle at  49.440.21 from the previous close of 49.475.42. This brings the year-to-date to 15.74%, the month-to-date to -0.48% and the week-to-date to -0.13% respectively.

Investors lost N31billion as market capitalisation depreciated by 0.13% to close at N26.667trillion from the previous close of N26.698. An aggregate of 67.369 units of shares were traded in 3,386 deals valued at N1.480billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed positive as 12 equities gained while 11 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers

E-tranzact Plc led other gainers with 9.97% growth to close at N3.20 from the previous close of N2.91.
Academy, Vitafoam and Honeywell Flour Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.52%, 5% and 3.36% respectively.

Percentage Losers

ABC Transport Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N0.27 from the previous close of N0.30.
UPL, Mutual Benefit Insurance and R.T Briscoe  Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.44%, 6.90% and 6.25% respectively.

Volume Drivers

First Bank Plc traded about 9.673million units of its shares in 185 deals, valued at N96.557million.

Zenith Bank Plc traded about 9.252million units of its shares in 374 deals, valued at N182.384million.

GTCO Plc traded about 6.113million units of its shares in 321 deals, valued at N120.396million.
