Transactions on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Wednesday, closed on a negative note as the All Share Index depreciated by 0.50% to settle at 50,188.55 points from the previous close of 50,442.37 points, bringing the year-to-date to 17.49%, the month-to-date to -1.67% and the week-to-date to -3.47% respectively.
Investors lost N137billion as market capitalisation depreciated by 0.50% to close at N27.065trillion from the previous close of N27,202trillion. An aggregate of 829.511million units of shares were traded in 4,977 deals valued at N4,105billion.

The market breadth closed negative as 3 equities gained while 34 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
FCMB Plc led other gainers with 3.33% growth to close at N3.10 from the previous close of N3.00.
NASCON and Nigeria Brewery Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 0.91% and 0.42% respectively.

Custodian Insurance Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N6.30 from the previous close of N7.00.
Jaiz Bank, Prestige Insurance and Meyer Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 10%, 10% and 9.92% respectively
