Transactions on the floor of the Exchange on Tuesday, closed on a negative note as the All Share Index depreciated by 0.02% to settle at 52.308.88 points, from the previous close of 52,319.94 points, bringing the year-to-date to 22.46%, the month-to-date to 1.39% and the week-to-date to 0.18% respectively.
Investors lost N6billion as market capitalisation depreciated by 0.02% to close at N28,208trillion from the previous close of N28,214trillion. An aggregate of 205.641million units of shares were traded in 4,127 deals valued at N2.787billion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed flat as 16 equities gained and 16 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
RT Briscoe Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N0.44 from the previous close of N0.40.
Glaxosmith Kline, Cornerstone and Courtville Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.02%, 6.45% and 6.38% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
Multiverse Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.50% off its share price to close at N1.62 from the previous close of N1.79.
Japaul Gold, Academy and Caverton Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 7.41%, 7.00% and 6.57% respectively
Volume Drivers:
UBA Plc traded about 74.276million units of its shares in 204 deals, valued at N556.835million.
Accesscorp Plc traded about 16.092million units of its shares in 237 deals, valued at N146.445million.
