Investors gained N226Billion as Market Capitalization appreciated by 0.91% to close at N25.124trillion from the previous close of N24.898trillion. An aggregate of 435.799Million units of shares were traded in 6,482 deals, valued at N3.441Billion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed positive as 33 equities gained while 23 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N0.66 from the previous close of N0.60.
NCR, RT Briscoe and Presco Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 10%, 10% and 9.97% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
UPL Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.43% off its share price to close at N2.40 from the previous close of N2.65.
Lasaco, Link Assurance, Mutual Benefit Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.85%, 7.84% and 7.14% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
Fidelity Bank Plc traded about 38.035million units of its shares in 204 deals, valued at N106.219Million.
RT Briscoe Plc traded about 30.039million units of its shares in 43 deals, valued at N6.076Million.
