Investors gained N313Billion as Market Capitalization appreciated by 1.29% to close at N25.073trillion from the previous close of N24.760trillion. An aggregate of 328.997Million units of shares were traded in 4,219 deals, valued at N4.817Billion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed positive as 20 equities gained while 19 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
Airtel Africa Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at N1,271 from the previous close of N1.155.
ETI, Courtville and Academy Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.55%, 9.09% and 8.86% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
Cadbury Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.47% off its share price to close at N9.50 from the previous close of N8.60.
Prestige Insurance, Champion Brewery, and Linkage Assurance Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.70%, 7.84% and 7.14% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
