Investors lost 82Billion as Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.22% to close at N22.727trillion from the previous close of N22.809trillion. An aggregate of 161.309million units of shares were traded in 3,574deals, valued at N2.140Bllion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed negative as 12 equities gained while 21 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
Unity Bank Plc led other gainers with 7.27% growth to close at N0.59 from the previous close of N0.55.
FTN Cocoa, Universal Insurance and Wapco Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 5%, 4.76% and 2.62% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
Cornerstone Insurance Plc led other price decliners as it shed 8.77% off its share price to close at N0.52 from the previous close of N0.57.
Cutix, E-Transact and Regency Assurance Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.06%, 7.32% and 7.32% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
First Bank Plc traded about 28.155million units of its shares in 256 deals, valued at N322.074Billion.
Transcorp Plc traded about 23.506million units of its shares in 103 deals, valued at N23,506Million.
