Investors lost 17Billion as Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.08% to close at N21.889trillion from the previous close of N21.906trillion. An aggregate of 160.877million units of shares were traded in 3,688 deals, valued at N1.408Million.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed negative as 13 equities gained while 25 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
SOCA Plc led other gainers with 9.47% growth to close at N1.04 from the previous close of N0.95.
Linkage Assurance, Okomu Oil, and Aiico Insurance Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 7.55%, 5.19% and 4.92% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
Pharmadeko Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N2.34 from the previous close of N2.60.
Unilever, Redstar Express and Royal Exchange Insurance Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 8.65%, 8.24% and 7.69% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
First Bank Plc traded about 19.516million units of its shares in 244 deals, valued at N208.299Million.
