Investors lost N2billion as Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.01% to close at N20.278trillion from the previous close of N20.276trillion. An aggregate of 228.479million units of shares were traded in 3,376 deals, valued at N1.879billion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed negative as 14 equities gained while 20 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
UPDC plc led other gainers with 9.93% growth to close at N1.66 from the previous close of N1.51.
Academy, Courtville and Vitafoam Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.33%, 7.41% and 3.88% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
Sovereign Insurance Plc led other price decliners as it shed 7.41% off its share price to close at N0.25 from the previous close of N0.27.
UPL, Regency Assurance and UACN Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 6.42%, 6.25% and 4.85% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
Wema Bank Plc traded about 46.761million units of its shares in 54 deals, valued at N35.973million.
Access Bank Plc traded about 28.240million units of its shares in 289 deals, valued at N263.495million.
