Investors lost N3billion as Market Capitalization depreciated by 0.02% to close at N20.276trillion from the previous close of N20.279trillion. An aggregate of 201.103million units of shares were traded in 3,340 deals, valued at N2.526billion.
Market Breadth:
The market breadth closed negative as 18 equities gained while 21 equities declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers:
Morison plc led other gainers with 9.40% growth to close at N2.10 from the previous close of N1.92.
Sovereign Insurance, Linkage Assurance and Fidelity Bank Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 8.0%, 5.3% and 4.3% respectively.
Percentage Losers:
SCOA Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N1.17 from the previous close of N1.30.
Academy, UPDC, and ABC Transport Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 7.7%, 6.2% and 5.7% respectively.
Volume Drivers:
Universal Insurance Plc traded about 19.447million units of its shares in 15 deals, valued at N3.889million.
Fidelity Bank Plc traded about 19.283million units of its shares in 192 deals, valued at N46.513million.
