The Equities market rebounded in today’s trading session as the Oil & Gas and the Industrial goods sectors helped the market outperform. It recorded a marginal gain of +0.09% which closed at 26,240.45bps, while  market capitalization closed at N9.03 trillion. 

Market breadth was strong as 21 gainers led by NASCON (+4.95%) over 16 losers led by HONYFLOUR (-4.96%)  was recorded on the chart today.

Total volume traded was 190 million shares, valued at N2.43billion and traded in 2,896 deals. The highest traded Equities in  volume and value were TRANSCORP (23,659,891) and PRESCO (N1,033,215,890.23) respectively.

The Oil & Gas, Industrial goods and the Consumer goods indices were the only gainers out of the five key sectoral indices’ in today’s trading session.
