At the close of the market today, the Equity Market ended trading session with an aggregate of 27,596.81 to produce a marginal loss of 0.89% (compared to 27,843.55 and 1.02% loss recorded yesterday). 

The market breadth (No of Gainers/No of Losers) moderately improved compared to yesterday (0.59x vs. 0.31x). 13 Gainers were recorded against 22 Losers in the trading chart.

The top 5 Gainers were NESTLE (+1), NB (+0.72), UNnseILEVER (+0.64), PRESCO (+0.50) and NAHCO (+0.15). The top 5 Losers were DANGCEM (-4), CAP (-0.50), WAPCO (-0.50), CCNN (-0.40) and OANDO (-0.32).

5 most actively traded stocks were GUARANTY, FBNH, NB, ZENITH and STERLING. 

In terms of VOLUME, GUARANTY, ZENITH, UBA, FBNH and TRANSCORP topped the list of equities on the trading chart.

Furthermore, within the Nigerian All Share Index, the Industrial index posted the strongest loss of 1.57% followed by the Oil & Gas, Banking, Insurance and Consumer Goods indices with losses of 0.56%, 0.27%, 0.26% and 0.02%.
