At the close of the market today, the Equity Market ended trading session with an aggregate of 28,131.28 to produce a further loss of 0.26% (compared to 28,203.2 and 0.06% loss recorded yesterday). 

The market breadth (No of Gainers/No of Losers) significantly declined compared to yesterday (0.48x vs. 1.21x). 10 Gainers were recorded against 21 Losers in the trading chart.

The top 5 Gainers were NESTLE (+7), ACCESS (+0.13), ETRANZACT (+0.12), LIVESTOCK (+0.07) and CUSTODYINS (+0.04). The top 5 Losers were SEPLAT (-7.90), OKOMUOIL (-1.15), OANDO (-0.66), GUARANTY (-0.52) and INTBREW (-0.50).

5 most actively traded stocks were FBNH, GUARANTY, OANDO, NB and ZENITH.

In terms of VOLUME, ACCESS, DIAMOND BANK, FBNH, FIDELITY BANK and GUARANTY topped the list of equities on the trading chart.

Furthermore, within the Nigerian All Share Index, the Consumer Goods index posted the strongest gain of 0.12% followed by the Industrial and Insurance indices with zero-sum profits of 0%, while the Oil & Gas and Banking indices posted losses of 1.77% and 0.63%.
