From NSE Data, the equity market completed a three-day losing streak to close the fourth week of July today Friday 24th sliding by -0.40% to close at 31,091.69 thereby reducing the week-to-date returns to a gain of 0.14%
Despite the early positive start on Tuesday, the bears maintained a firm hold on the market from Wednesday till Friday as 30 losers over 19 gainers was recorded on the chart today.

The decrease took the month–to–date and year-to-date market returns to a deeper loss of -7.07% and -10.29% respectively.
