Transaction on the floor of the Stock Exchange on Thursday 14th, December, 2023, sustained its bullish runs and closed on a positive note. The  All Share Index appreciated by 0.22% to settle at 72,458.83 from the previous close of 72,299.79 This brings the year-to-date to 40.49%, the month-to-date to 1.54% and the week-to-date to 1.28% respectively. 

Market Capitalisation closed at N39.650 trillion. An aggregate of 446,582,797 units of shares was traded in 6,845 deals valued at 7,255,695,677.70

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed negative as 26 equities gained while 27 equities declined in share prices.

Percentage Gainers
Infinity Mortgage Bank Plc led other gainers with 9.83% growth to close at N2.57, from its previous price N2.34

John Holt, Ikeja Hotel and E-Tranzact Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.73%, 9.20% and 7.69% respectively.

Percentage Losers
R.T. Briscoe Plc led other price decliners as it shed 9.84%  off its share price to close at N0.55 from its previous close of N0.61

UPDC Real Estate Investment Trust (UPDCREIT), Mutual Benefit Assurance and Omatek Ventures Plc amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.78%, 9.43% and 7.69% respectively.

Volume Drivers

Access Bank Holding Plc traded about 77.255million units of its shares in 598 deals, valued at N1.756billion

FCMB Plc traded about 45.235million units of its shares in 277 deals, valued at N318.609million.

Zenith Bank Plc traded about 37.290million units of its shares in 487 deals, valued at 1.380billion
