Transaction on the floor of the Stock Exchange sustained its bullish runs for the third consecutive trading days of the week as transactions on Thursday, April 27, 2023 closed on a positive note. The  All Share Index appreciated by 0.27% to settle at 52,235.88 from the previous close of 52,097.62. This brings the year-to-date to 2.15%, the month-to-date to a negative 3.53% and the week-to-date to 1.85% respectively.

Market Capitalisation closed at N28.443trillion. An aggregate of  2,334,245,742 units of shares were traded in 6,958 deals valued at N17.618billion.

Market Breadth

The market breadth closed Positive as a total of 26 equities gained while 18 equities declined in their share prices.

Percentage Gainers
Honeywell Flour Mill  Plc led other gainers with 10% growth to close at  N3.08 from its previous price of N2.80

Cadbury Nigeria, Neimeth International Phamaceutical and Fidson Healthcare Plc amongst other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.82%, 9.52% and 9.29% respectively.

Percentage Losers
Nigerian Breweries Plc led other price decliners as it shed 10% off its share price to close at N32.85 from its previous close of N36.50

International Energy Insurance,Red Star Express and Berger Paints Plc were amongst other losers also shed their share prices by 9.49%, 8.93% and 7.19% respectively.

Volume Drivers
Access Bank Holding Plc traded about 1.231billion units of its shares in 1,062 deals, valued at N12.511billion.

Transcorp Plc traded about 873.595million units of its shares in 1,377 deals, valued at N2.750billion

Japaul Gold Plc traded about 45.393million units of its shares in 107 deals, valued at N17.280million
